Hey folks, and welcome to another edition of Ballin in the Barn! Let's get to it!

Just some little tidbits for today. Nothing big.

1. Some stuff for the NBA. Cap is projected to be $56.1M.
2. Phil Jackson was fined $35K for criticizing refs. Phil Jackson, come on man. But it didn't hurt the refs as much as it did to Kevin Durant. Jackson said the refs treat him like a superstar (well, duh, he is one) and they let him get to the line easily (WTF?). Come on, Phil, you know better. Now KD is gonna go monster attack on the Lakers during the series. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the Thunder really give it to the Lakers, taking to to seven games. Would be a swell series.
3. The Holling PER Diem stuff is annoying. Who cares about somebody's PER? If someone's PER is like 11.9, he thinks that's a bad player. Jeez, dude. But there's something I like about that, and only one thing: True Shooting Percentage. That's good.
4. Scottie Pippen says that Derrick Rose has taken over the torch of the Bulls' franchise.
5. Clippers fire their interim coach. No surprise there.
6. Sixers fire Jordan for unacceptable season. I get ya.
7. LeBron says the Bulls will be facing a different monster. Uh-oh.

That's what we got today. Looking forward to the playoffs.
